
Meet Candice Fortune, owner of TC Private Catering and events. After completing her 3 year Food Service Management Diploma at the Hotel School in Granger Bay, Candice has worked locally and abroad at various High end establishments. Her experience and knowledge of having run the kitchens and also having worked for herself, gave her the confidence to start up TC Private Catering and events.
TC Private Catering was established in August 2019, just a few months before Covid Lockdown. For a small business just starting out, this was a hard knock, but not one to shy away from a challenge, Candice and her team have since built up the business to an indomitable force recognised amongst corporates as one of the best in the industry. From personalised menus for a birthday function, to breakfast menus at Corporate Breakfasts, Dinner buffets and cocktail canapes – TC Private Catering does it all.
Candice and her team catered for my very first Canva workshop, she created a menu specifically for me, accommodated my two vegan attendees and ensured that there was more than enough food for everyone. So much so, that some of my clients still talk about the food that was served that day.
